Strafe glitch

It seems that strafing or moving with WASD any which way while holding down an ability now just makes your character jerk in place while moving at 0.05speed or something, and it just looks like i'm glideing with all my abilities for some reason. It makes it kinda hard to fight.

I've got the same issue. If you space the casts out it's fine, but holding it down constantly will just lag/rubberband you in place.
currently having this problem on my merc but only with basic bolts, made a new merc to see if it would work and it does, just not on my main... idk if i can keep playing and i don't know how to fix it. tried respec, used about 15k and also nothing

One thing I tried, and seemed to work for me sorry for getting back late, was to turn on and off "attack in place". It seems that the attack in place button is making it happen - It's trying to make you not move whilst you are moving so it isn't working as intended.

I never activated it, but I saw it was a possibility.

If you don't know how to find this, bring up your Gem menu, next to the DP number there is an arrow, press that and at the bottom left there should be a button for "attack without moving" or "attack in place" or something like that.

Hope it works for you too :D
