Chaos Inoculation Not Making You Immune to chaos damage Bug

I am using Mind over matter, eldritch battery and chaos inoculation in combination.
Mobs are still able to hit me with chaos damage and poison me. I seem to be taking significant damage from chaos damage mobs as if I did not have chaos immune. I believe the issue is CI working incorrectly due to having no energy shield and only life active. Working on recording something for this, will edit post in the morning. Are you wearing Atziri's Disdain Gold Circlet? if so thats the reason you are dying.
% of Damage taken bypasses Energy Shield If not then I wish you luck. |

I am not using that item, and have no other sources of bypass energy shield as I have no es.
I have 4100 mana and mind over matter. |

Same happens to me. And in left bottom corner i get notification that character "suicided".

" OP stated they have Mind over Matter, in which case the damage would forward to their mana. Not their Life. You're also not supposed to take Chaos damage at all regardless, so it's not even relevant no matter which way you put it. Last edited by X3n_#5275 on Dec 12, 2024, 6:54:42 AM

I was killing myself with my mana flask. Check yours.

unfortunately not the issue here but good suggestion.

Ive done more testing. Most chaos damage actually seems to be immune as intended except for the snake mobs.
The snakes that spit the green poison acid seem to chunk me as if I wasn't immune. either those mobs are over-tuned compared to others or they are getting around ci with my MoM set up. |

did you find a reason for that? I have the same issue. Is that a bug or it should be like that?

I have the exact same issue.
MOM + Eldritch Battery + CI. Still taking full damage from mobs that look to be shooting poison at me. Either they're not actually dealing chaos damage, or there's some weird bug. Either way - feels broken |
