Monk fashion is sad without transmog
It's kinda sad that while playing as a monk, I look like some gladiator. There are plenty of awesome monk pieces out there. Sadly, they are unusable due to stats being more important than fashion. Because I'm the kinda guy who likes to build a character not only for the numbers, but for immersion as well.
Is it possible to have some sort of transmog in the future, where we can apply in game armor on each other? Would be pretty awesome, ngl. Or maybe some monk themed sets in the shop, which are not too flashy (since monks are a simple kind)? I checked the shop twice, and even if all of it was available rn in PoE2, there is nothing suitable for the monk. Last bumped on Dec 12, 2024, 11:00:55 AM

" Its on purpose just like poe1, i actually have no issue with this, they make their money from micro transactions, you can buy skin transfers from the shop AKA transmogs. Last edited by stormyknight#7628 on Dec 12, 2024, 12:04:08 AM

" Unlike PoE 1 though, most armors look pretty decent Some look really good Better than many of the payed cosmetics in PoE 1 |

" Agreed, I quite like the designs of the default armours. I was never a big fan of the default PoE armour. | |
I was actually going to make a post on this and even though "D4 bad" at least it actually provided a large host of non payed cosmetics...well scratch that the game is too high a price! xD
But anyway! Yes, typical asian style default appearances for a franchise as big as Path of Exile + owned by Tencent, its pretty damn poor but atm I'm really not bothered because I might get lucky with something still and I don't need to be a "super hero" yet, maybe in a year or 2 xD |

" You pay 80$ upfront for diablo4, if you put 80$ into poe you too can have shiny armors. |

Shiny armors?
Not a lot of variety imo, all I see is have over the top wings or spider demon stuff, entire cosmetic into a god/demon or some silly over the top clothed pirate looking thing. Definitely something POE is lacking and I doubt anyone can provide a good counter argument but I don't really care for the moment with how good the game actually is but creating a personal character with your own head/look + varied cosmetics is non existent/low tier. They know their game will be successful so pay the designers and I'm sure the cash will rain in, instead I'm seeing pointless things like footprint effects and stuff tailored for mainly a really niche audience. |

Please GGG fix this to work. |

" I understand. The problem is there is no suitable armors in the shop that I would like to apply to monk. They are all too much for me personally. If I think of a monk, I imagine a dude in a tide, yet very simple outfit. Considering how we roll around, it's okay if some pieces would have rips and dirt. And we have those pieces right now in the game, they are great! But they are not available to use freely. I don't mind to pay for transmog at all, I understand that f2p game has to make money. I believe it could be solved with various options, such as: 1. Paid item to transfer a piece to wardrobe 2. Paid item to apply transmog 3. Paid item to cleanse transmog from the piece 4. Various paid dyes Hell, some games even rent you cosmetics for a week/a month. My point is, it is doable. It would give more options to players who don't like shop outfits. And GGG will profit at the same time. Win/win situation, I think. |
