Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Redeem.........
At:https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/early-access
It says: -------------- Your account is eligible for Path of Exile 2 Early Access! Thank you for your (or your benevolent friend's) support! Your account will be allowed to log in and play during Path of Exile 2 Early Access. You can download and play on the standalone client once it becomes available. Your Early Access also includes keys to play on Steam or Epic which can be claimed below. For more details please check out the FAQ ------------------------------- So... so far I: Purchased key, activated it through the website (worked). activated the product on steam (worked) downloaded the client on steam (worked) Loaded up the game through steam and tried to play (didn't work) Instead I get an error message saying: "Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Redeem an Early Access key on our website or purchase access now." So do I have to pay $30 again? I am lost. Currently I am trying to download the windows client in hopes that will work. I don't understand why this is so confusing, if I dl the game on steam shouldn't I just be able to load up the game through steam and play it? Why all the extra complexity that seems to have no purpose? Last bumped on Dec 23, 2024, 5:45:09 AM

It seems to only work with the GGG POE2 Client, steam client just wont work. My account won't let me link my ggg poe account to steam account either. Maybe thats the reason, i don't know.

I have redeemed the key. I have added it to steam. I have linked my PoE and Steam accounts and still I get the same message: your account does not have access to path of exile 2 early access.

Same here, the only way I have been able to play is by downloading the client for the POE2 website itself.
The steam version seems bugged at the moment. | |
I was having the same problem.
Then I went to manage accounts and saw that I could setup a secondary login to steam. After being redirected to the Steam API to accept. On confirmation, I received a warning from POE that my account was associated with another account. At first I was like this looks suspicious but I guess once upon a time I installed POE1 through steam and forgot about this. After linking my accounts, which I was only allowed to do once, I was able to login into my main account and character through steam, and not just the POE2 client. Hope this helps. |
