Melee suffering again
I love playing melee but no matter what build I play it seems unfairly difficult. I have played various classes. What gets me is that I have stacked armour and health on my warrior yet my witch gets hits for less damage than my tank! warrior is very sluggish particularly in the trials and basically has a poor chance of getting through it compared to other classes (let alone the fact that the trial is based on an a league mechanic that I avoided like the plague in poe1). Arnour doesnt seem to matter. My witch with no armour and barely any energy sheild survives longer, is quicker and hits faster. This is with basic gear on both. There will be the odd troll saying well "you are playing it wrong" Im not.....Ive been around since beta POE1 and have always managed. The in-balance on poe2 is just unfair. To add, resistances are a big part of the game as in POE1 but barely any gear has resistance and when you find a good base there arent even alteration orbs.

For me I find that there aren't nearly enough frames or distance in the dodge ability in order to make melee feel playable. It's a bad experience overall. There's 'interesting challenge that is still fun'. Then there is the trash that PoE tries to sell. What a mess. I hated PoE1 so I thought I'd give PoE2 a try since it was supposed to be good. And to be fair I enjoy the ranged classes, but honestly why are the melee characters even there? Had I started with one of them as my first character I would have refunded the game, it sucks.
