Loot Pickup prioritizing 3D model over Highlight/label
|
When picking loot up off the ground, if we have highlighting enabled and there are a stack of items dropped from a monster, then clicking the highlight/label that's on top of another item's 3D object, often times will pick up the object instead. For example, a rare drops a chest armor, boots, and gloves at the spot it dies, and I click the label "gloves". More often than not, since the 3D object of the chest is larger, my click will register as picking up the chest, and not prioritizing the highlighted label I was actually clicking.
My suggestion would be to remove pickup using the 3D model if we have highlighting enabled, and if we don't have highlighting enabled or if it's toggled off, reenable it. I'm not sure if this is intentional, a bug, or a mix of the two so I will be posting on both the feedback forum and bug report forum. Last bumped on Jan 17, 2026, 8:47:07 AM

I think the issue is not prioritizing when both overlap. Otherwise every failed click on a label would pick something else. I for one never picked up the wrong item. But I am CONSTANTLY spam clicking labels and it just won't pick up the item. I then try to click on the model/bottom of highlight beam. That often works. Often what works is somewhere below the label or in between the label and model.
Sounds to me the clickable area is calculated separately from the label display and they do not match. Please GGG look into this, the most annoying thing and immersion breaking trying to find where to click. |

" I tested my theory and made my loot filter all use the default font size. I previously had them slightly bigger overall and even bigger for the most expensive stuff. Now with everything at default font size I can pick up items fast again mid combat no problem. |
