Help with Blackjaw, the Remnant

Any tip on how to beat this **** boss. As a ranger it feels impossible to beat him. Maybe get some levels and try the boss later? What do you suggest guys.

I beat him as a zDPS poison ranger. Stand next to him and attack once, dodge to behind him, attack, dodge to his other side, attack... when he does the big fire move just run far away. Just do that for 30 mins and you should be good to go!

Yes he's one like silverback you actually don't want to be far away from. Run around him in a tight circle and his oneshots will miss you as you begin to learn them. You can deal with the occasional small damage from his smaller hits much better. Learn to run away when he does his fire flurry stuff for a moment then get back in there.

When he uses those bigger crazy abilities you can hide behind pillars. I did it with a mix of staying close and keeping distance.
But it's a pretty challenging boss, died a few times.

Stick on his butt for most of the fight. He really struggles with someone behind him.

When he does flame things run away and hide behind a pillar (especially the axe, it's hit box is extra dimensional and will always one shot you).

His "triple slam" attack is actually just two slams, on the first and third slam.

Really the secret for me was to run away from the flame axe. Once I did that it wasn't too terrible.

He punishes greed. ie. You cannot attack more than one unless you can freeze or stun him So USe a low speed high damage attack hit roll to his side repeat. When he screamsto do the 260 attack go away .. return immediatelly after to not be one shot.
