What are people expecting to get when they list something for 0.1ex or 0.5ex?

I'm finding it difficult to figure out what people are actually expecting to get when they list something for 0.something Exalted Orb.

One person asked for 1 Chaos Orb for an item listed for 0.1ex, another 1 Regal, and so on.

Is it just a wildcard price at the moment or what? Asking 1 Chaos Orb as an equivalent to 0.1ex is ridiculous.

What are people actually expecting? If I list something for 0.1ex, what should I expect?
