Remember that it's a "game."

First of all, thank you for developing Path of Exile 1, which has given me years of enjoyment. It is and remains the best hack-and-slash game of all time.

That being said, you need to take into account that people play for the late game and not to spend their lives completing the various acts. It's the very principle of the game to develop builds. And right now, it's atrocious... Monsters have way too much HP, spells are almost ineffective, and only a few of them will be used before you nerf their damage instead of buffing other spells.

Remember that the majority of players engage with this type of game for a sense of power. Yes, complexity is interesting, but not at the expense of the very concept of "playing." Look at the majority of people who play PoE: they rush through the "story" content just to finally reach the endgame. It is therefore illogical to make the game "longer," "harder," and "more tedious." On the contrary, the endgame content should be made more quickly accessible because that’s where the majority of players truly enjoy themselves.

A game is not meant to make you slam your fist on the table because monsters corner you and two-shot you. The complexity that is so beloved in PoE lies in the nuance of builds, not in the sheer difficulty of killing a monster (or 100).

Please try to understand the nuance between the ease of a Diablo game and the current difficulty of PoE 2, which is simply maddening at the moment.

By the way, I encourage you to check out the comments on YouTube regarding the boss fights. You'll see the number of remarks about how impossible it is for certain classes to beat bosses. It's clear that the difficulty is far too high. For instance, Draven is almost impossible with a Witch.

I can't understand how you can be so quick to nerf things yet so slow to buff others—especially when these issues are causing players to rage-quit.
