Ability to skip acts

This post was created in order to find out the opinion of people about the possibility of skipping acts.
My opinion:
1. Acts are very long.
2. It is very boring because of the long locations.
3. The only thing that was interesting in the acts were the bosses.
I think people don't come to PoE to read the plot and spend 30+ hours of their time on useless acts.
I also noticed that there are a lot of new people on the forum who don't understand why players from Poe 1 are complaining

Nah nah nah no skipping..they're gonna increase density of mobs and so on since there was a bug were packs were missing so it will get better.
it's not the acts it's the gameplay in general.

I don't think you understand for how many years we've asked for an alternative to the campaign in PoE 1.

There will never be an alternative to Acts, you will always have to do them to reach maps.

They haven't budged for years in PoE 1, they sure as hell ain't going to change their stance for PoE 2.

it's an arpg masquerading as a challenging action RPG.

the goldilocks zone for an highly engaging experience is already fairly narrow, and it's inherently compromised by arpg randomness. so I do empathise with those not having a good time, as personally, playing warrior the game starts to become tedious when my weapons damage starts to fall off.

everyone would probably have a much better time if none of the arpg shit was tainting what they intend to be a fun challenge. how can you design a good experience around a 200% variance?
