Gas Arrow + Detonating Arrow Bug?

Am i missing something here?

Gas cloud when hit with detonating shot should explode? Seems very inconsistent with maybe 1 in 20 exploding.

Haven't yet tried the ignition support gem with Gas Arrow but given it states this I imagine it wouldn't work?
