Permanently Grappled

While in the map and fighting viper legionnaire's once they have grappled you and you kill them you are permanently then grappled and slowed and only way to remove this is to leave the map. Last bumped on Jul 9, 2025, 7:40:55 PM

Same problem here. This is super annoying...
The viper legioneers grappled debuff and their hooks are following forever until leave map. Visually bugged aswell.. |

still not solved - got Grappled at start of map(Vaal factory) and it never felt off for whole map.

Just happened to me twice in Act 3 Cruel Utzaal. Town portal cleared it.
Edit: Just had something odd happen. Not sure if it's helpful, but I had part of the bug happen where it only showed up graphically. The rope is still visible coming from my character and one of my skeleton clerics. ![]() Here it is visibly glitching out over a nearby pillar. There is no Grappled icon and I was not slowed. Same for me, but i dont think it slow me after he die. I think it's only visual.

Can't believe that this isn't fixed yet. I noticed this during my first playthrough at release, and I haven't played through this part of the campaign again since. Clearly there's some disconnect in the game logic where the grapples are not getting removed / cancelled out after the enemy who launched it has died. So you're just permanently attached to their body at that point. The grapples also seem to be able to extend to basically an infinite distance when they are in this state. It's silly.
