Elemental attack helicopter (Invoker)

Hello,
as my first build in PoE2 I went with invoker monk. Just started mapping and damage is there but I'm still working on survivability. No special gear required so far. Planning to go with es/evasion maybe CI.

Considerations (read pls):

1. Experiment if you want to use or not Eternal Youth keystone and don't take it if you don't have enough energy shield;
2. Still need more resistances and mana;
3. Need more ascendancy points -> probably Lead me through grace (Max evasion and es on body armour for additional spirit) and ?;
4. Second support gem on bell makes it area of effect even bigger but gives it a little cd. Personally I like it so I'm using it.
5. Using stun immunity charm, 2nd will be slow immunity?


Playstyle endgame:

(spam flasks if mana or es/hp moves substantially)
0. Use charged staff buff between packs;
1. Ice strikes skill have small close gap so it allows you to zoom a little bit between packs;
2. If enemy is far away use any palm skill to teleport;
3. If there is a big group of enemies throw on them the tempest bell;
4. On boss: use freeze mark -> charge bell -> use bell -> freeze boss with ice strikes -> pop charged staff if not active -> dodge big attack -> bell him again and burst down. Repeat if needed.

* take Resonance keystone when you have charged staff skill and combat frenzy buff. If you want to use charged staff earlier use lingering illusion buff.

If you feel like changing order of nodes will be better do it. If you need more intelligence swap dexterity points for it.


Gems:

0. USE MARTIAL TEMPO SUPPORT ON YOUR MAIN MELEE SKILL if leveling as a melee;
1. Act 1 will feel very bad as melee. If you want to level with quarterstaff then use glacial cascade + frozen locus for bosses and falling thunder + killing palm for normal mobs. But some ranged spell will probably be better. Played only monk so far, so experiment yourself;
2. Grab tempest bell with increased area of effect asap;
3. Take herald of ice as first buff and swap to ice strikes when you can;
4. Take charged staff with lingering illusion asap;
5. Proceed to full build;


How to play:

Build ramps up in act2/act3. Before that you will have to dodge and play more ranged. Early don't dash into the enemies FOCUS ON THROWING BELL WITH INCREASED AOE ON ENEMIES.


Gear progression and drops:

0. Pick every blue and yellow item early ->
- check if items have interesting affixes on it (can hold alt to see mods tier). On weapon you want: +to melee gems, %phys, + to phys damage, +attack speed, +crit chance. Check how my weapons looks like and look for something similar. Check tooltip in skills menu to compare weapons damage.
On armour: movement speed on boots, resistance, energy shield/evasion/life.
- While leveling I was disenchanting every bad rare item for regal shard and every blue item was disenchanted as long as I was feeling low on transmutes. Gold is also very important and item gambling seems very strong. Try to find your own balance here. Started selling many yellow items for gold in late game.
1. Dismantle items with sockets and quality on it.
2. Don't hoard runes like me :)
3. Merchants reset on every level up and offer some good items. Use these items as bases for crafting. Get basic jewellery.

Curious, what are you using power charges for? I see you have generation from freezing + resonance keystone.

Also do you think you're getting enough crit chance to benefit from Sunder my Enemies? I did consider going this, but figure id have more damage consistency with cold pen on my tree, and Unbound Avatar. Though it looks like you're able to get multiple ailments on the bell, so maybe not?
I'm using power charges for charged staff in order to proc shock.
