Sekhemas help - altar wp

So I have the quest to complete my ascendancy but upon boss falling and trial completing, I was dc'd. Is there a waypoint direct to the altar of ascendancy or do I have to go through the trial again?

If waypoint, would a wonderful person tp me there by chance?
