I bought into EA on XBox and PC and wanna use the same character on both

SO this is what I did. I bought the game on XBox and after 2 days of absolutely loving it, I decided to buy it again on PC to use the crossplatform feature.

When I opened the game on Steam, I realized that its not as easy as I thought. The game starts from scratch. I am not quite sure what I have to do, to use the same account.

I know you can link accounts, thats probably what I need to do right? The problem is, I cant do that thx to a problem I have with my old E-Mail account (doesnt exist anymore) and GGG does not allow me to change it without sending me a verification Mail to my old, non existing Mail account.

So to wrap it up: Can I use my character on both platforms without linking them and if not, is there a way to link my accounts without having to use a non-existing E-Mail account to do so?

I of course already contacted support, but it is so busy that my mail doesnt even go through.
