The Three Dragons unique bug

The Three Dragons modifier "Cold Damage from Hits Contributes to Ignite Chance and Magnitude instead of Chill Magnitude" removes cold damage's ability to freeze too.

i.e using cold spells/attacks no longer freezes at all. If this is intended, the wording should be changed.

I think that its supposed to make source cold damage ONLY cause ignite. It seems to work as intended on my Monks Flurry strikes and falling thunder by building freeze.

I do think its still bugged tho.

Example:

For me Flame Wall loses ability to ignite enemies that walk through it. As worded TTD should not effect skills that cause instant ailments as there is no build up mechanic.

However, Monk projectiles from Staggering palm still ignite when passing through the wall and hit with the intended unique effect.

running into this and its frustrating
I'm running into a slightly different issue with this helm, I am trying to get my lightning dmg to inflict freeze and shock by using the ascendency passive that ALL damage inflicts shock. I'd imagine with that wording that my lightning damage would also shock after losing it's ability to shock.

And with Painter's servant (splits my ele dmg 33% to all). I can't shock at all.

On the helm it says that lightning damage contributes to freeze buildup instead of shock chance so freeze and chill are clearly separate entities. This leads me to believe that it is currently bugged and that you should still be able to freeze with cold damage.

With the current wording, I agree that Cold damage should still Freeze as well.
