PoE2 graphics for PoE1

I played PoE2 for about 45 hours and I finally gave up as I realized it gives me a lot of frustration and not much joy.
I'm going back to PoE1. There is one thing I will miss and that is the graphics. Reading the forum and steam reviews it looks like I'm not the only one that prefers PoE1 gameplay and it would be a shame if we are stuck with 2010's graphics for the next 10 years. Do you think there is any chance PoE1 will receive the graphical update 2 just got? I not, do you think some other company will step in and give us a blaster game with 2020's graphics? I don't think there's a lot of hope for that, unfortunately. The entire reason PoE2 exists is because they started making these changes for PoE1, but realized PoE1 is just so fundamentally ill-equipped for these updates that it'd be easier to just make a new game.
I also don't really think some other company will try to make "PoE1 but with better graphics", because PoE1 already exists and is hard to compete with. |

I’ve never understood the complaints about PoE’s graphics. Why would it need better graphics?

" PoE2 is running on the same engine with tweaks, we've already seen a few of the graphical changes they made with PoE2 come to PoE1 already, the rest would be messing about with the art assets to bring them up to PoE2 standards which takes a good chunk of time.
