Mercenary dodge roll causes him to stop shooting

While playing the mercenary if you get to no ammo and then dodge roll, then try to shoot, the mercenary will not reload and you will be stuck not shooting until you manually reload. Could be a game mechanic or a bug but sucks either way.

mine stopped rolling all together and stopes constantly and stops like frozen and shooting is not right.
