PoE2 Viper Napuatzi Boss Fight Glitch (Character Lockout)

Came across a glitch during the Viper Napuatzi boss fight in Utzaal. The boss went from her floating curse attack to her phalanx poison spear attack. During the transition where the phalanx closes in, she landed behind her minions, becoming invulnerable and locking me out of the fight.

Because I'm in the middle of a boss fight, I cannot teleport out, and logging out doesn't take me back to town, essentially preventing me from playing the game until it resets.

Likewise, tried resetting via log out and quit game but takes me back to the exact point as I left.

I managed to find a way out/around it. The only thing that worked was having a friend invite me into a party and teleporting to them (which works, for some reason).

This is happening to me right now as well.

Not 100% the same, but now I was the one that got stuck behind the shield wall as it moved in. She just bugged out and didn't know what to do anymore as she couldn't reach me nor I her. Had to use the "respawn at checkpoint" function to get out. A shame as she had about 5% health left.
