Beat the Count on my Level 16 Sorc

So I beat the count. I did it solo on her, and it was pretty rough. The mist phase is by far the worst part of the fight. It's really chaotic. I died there far more times than any other phase.

I stacked two cold rings to help me survive, but after awhile I felt like I didn't need them because I knew the mechanics so well.

I think without the mist phase the fight's really not bad at all. Solstice of pain is a joke after you've seen it ten times. His charges are easily telegraphed. His AOE dive bomb becomes pretty easy to predict. Stepping away from his cold attacks is also pretty easy after you've done them enough.

They might want to alter the mist phase a little, and telegraph where he will charge in from. Not sure. It did feel unfair even though I beat it eventually.

For an ARPG the game does remind me a lot of Dark Souls. I roll constantly. Shoot roll. Shoot Roll. Shoot roll. Shoot Roll. Shoot roll. Shoot Roll. Shoot roll. Shoot Roll. Shoot roll. Shoot Roll. Shoot roll. Shoot Roll. Shoot roll. Shoot Roll.

That's the game in a nutshell.

Gratz on the kill; three of us at lvl 17 were trying but never found any ways to avoid the various attacks. No telegraphing was noticeable - just all of a sudden something would explode under us or we'd die and not know why. Went back a few times - but between video texture crashes (now at DX11 and the game seems more stable) and phantom deaths, finally said enough.

Another day after finding what I think is better gear and spell sets went back with one other, was able to kill the first phase in seconds -- before any of the RNG attacks started; but in phase two the mystery attacks and deaths started up all over again. My friend stayed alive a bit longer and managed to survive the frost mist but was hit by a mystery attack and died. So we bagged it. Pretty much everyone I have played the game with agrees the game has potential but isn't as fair and fun as it should be.

Don’t do it in a group it’s extremely difficult for some reason. I tried this duo with my girl and wiped so many times and boss HP barely moves. I tried solo, 1 shot attempt the boss easily.

Hi this boss is simple.

For the mist phase there’s an audible queue.m before the dash you can just count 1 2 3 4 after the first one.

If your on sorc it’s incredibly easy just plop down ice bomb firewall and spam spark.

Remember to check vendors every level for big gear upgrades.
