Question about Meat Shield and Infernal Legion

Hey guys, could someone tell me if having meat shield support gem for minions would reduce the damage of the ignite applied by infernal legion ?

Yes.

If you have a minion with 10000 life, you will do 2000 damage per sec with ignite.

Meatshield makes it so you have 15000 life and will do 3000 but with an reduced damage of 35% which ends up being: 3000*0,65= 1950.

The minion will have 50% more life, but will do 2,5% less damage.
