How is it possible that some zones are lagging like CRAZY and others dont?

Imagine having laggy trials and trying to do 3 floors!

I tested it, zone is laggy, i just go thru the door to another zone -> NO LAG
-> going back to laggy zone -> LAAAAAAG!
-> going back to the other zone -> No lag!
-> going back to laggy zone -> LAAAAAAG!
-> going back to the other zone -> No lag!

How is this possible? I can see giga lag spikes every 1-2 seconds with your graph thingy...

Also tested other games, zero problems at all, just in POE2 in certain zones and for sure for me at some point in trials.

This killed all the fun for me, its annoying beyond everything.

Check Discord and search for "lag" every 2 minutes (specialy or only on EU) are talking about it.

I'm in Southern California, playing through the CA US gateway.
Super stuttering lag starts here at around 4:45pm PST every day so far.

Before that every day the game plays just fine, but after 5pm PST it becomes unplayable, and it is NOT our hardware or ISP. It is PoE2 only.

I have 4 full time lifelong PC gamers with high quality hardware in this home and the only game giving anyone grief is this brand new one.

I'd ask if there is a setting that I can change IF the game didn't play really well before 5pm PST. But it does.

We have 3 more potential players in this house guys, but as is the others are not interested.

Havuing the same problem here (EU) it seems the instance servers are the cause.
Been tracking the latency and a lot of instances have wildly unstable latency, jumping from 10ms to 250-300ms, this will eventually cause a crash and a loss of the instance.

I'm having this problem as well in NA (west).

Everything will be fine and smooth, and then I'll start seeing intolorably huge pauses and 16,000ms (yes 16 thousand) network..

This is on wired gigabit fiber where there are no problems with latency to anything else, google, other games, etc... its a POE2 issue.

Last time POE2 started lagging, i quite literally just ESC->quit game... because i don't care to fight lag in addition to everything else.

Thanks for the report... that sucks... and yeah, that's what it seems like.

Since this morning it's very hard to play cause lag - I'm in EU and playing Interlude.
