Keyboard - Controller seamless transition

hello team. would it be please possible to implement a seamless transition between controller and keyboard? instead of exiting to character selection? it would be a total QoL improvement -when we want to try a boss with a different input type for example or navigate in the passives menu (where mouse is better).
mind blown level: make the transition available upon input activation (mouse movement/key stroke <> pressing controller button. similar to a game where you're not an exile, but a tarnished.
keep up the good work, PoE2 is awesome & can't wait for them juicy sales!!

I'm also hoping for this QoL application into the game.

I prefer to manage my inventory with the mouse, but fight with the controller.

This addition would greatly improve my experience.

This is also my preferred way of playing. Right now I'm quitting out of the game to switch.

PoE2 is the perfect game to play with my newborn on my lap, but I desperately need a controller in my left hand and mouse in my right. Controller isn't accurate enough for corpse explosion and offerings.

still not possible to switch with current 0.11 Patch...
