I Would Enjoy Not Having to Study Academically

I'm an adult and I'm sick of games I feel I need to study and exclusively dedicate my extra time to. I just want to set down and bonk things. I thought that's what Path of Exile was.

I don't enjoy this game because it is stressfull. I don't want that. It is tedious to test and move gems around and gear around and skill around. I don't want that. It is tedious to follow a build guide for me - if someone else did it for you why do it? Let me play and have lots of ways to bonk enemies.

I also feel like I have spent more time messing with moving gems around than playing the game. At first it was fun trying different builds. Then it got tedious because none of them paid off better than what I started with. Then it got sad because the only efficient clearing skills just spam from long range.

Also, if you do one thing, don't be like me and try way too hard to like melee. It was so much time and frustration. I really like the theme of the monk, wanted it to work, but it doesn't. Combo attacks don't work in a game where you can't attack more than once without fat rolling.

I know. I'll call the Wahmbulance and go back to Project Diablo 2.

That is pretty much the opposite of what PoE is. If someone told you that is how PoE is then they have never actually played the game.

PoE2 is a lot more beginner friendly on the skill setup and crafting at this point, but harder on the actual play. The dodge roll meta definitely feels clunky on melee, but it is EA so maybe there is hope.
You are right, We can see that.
