Why change button mapping from POE1 - POE 2???

Picking up items in stash
Using currency
Opening chat - this one is seriously bad
Linking items - requires a Konami code to do
Moving from one stash tab to the other

Just give us button mapping and we can use classic settings there’s no reason for these changes! I feel like whoever decided controller button mapping has never played POE1 on console!

Don’t fix what isn’t broken! Controller inputs we great in POE1 and more importantly our brains are wired for them, how the F… are we going to be able to jump back n forth between 1/2 , we will be constantly smashing the wrong buttons! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!

*we play on PS5 maybe the button mapping was different on xbox and nothing changed?

Invetory button changes make no sense. They were fine and I don't recall ever seeing anyone complaining about them.

POE1 controller mappings were terrible, you're likely only saying it was good because you built up the muscle memory.

As long as they are consistent throughout the game I don't mind them making changes, but .. perhaps they might give you an option for POE1 style UI controls.

I'm dreading search filters being available as we'll no doubt go back to the L3+Dpad type combos which are just hideous.

Agreed. POE1 controller mappings were terrible. POE2 has been much more intuitive for the basic stuff at least.
