You can see the shock % on the enemies.
If it's applied then it's always at maximum effect. (Volatic mark has 30% shock effect so it shows 26% for me) I think increased magnitude lowers the amount of lightning dmg required to apply the ailment.. or increases the chance to shock or something like that.... It makes applying shock easier. Last edited by krenderke#3861 on Dec 10, 2024, 5:59:27 AM

First of all increasing shock magnitude does not effect your shock chance of shocking an enemy.
what will increase the chance of shocking is by doing more lightning damage Adding exposure effect will make you deal more damage to the effected target witch makes you reach the threshold with less spell hit damage because your damage in increased by the X amount of Exposure effect on a Target Adding more Lightning damage will increase your ability to shock to reach the threshold Reducing Enemies Ailment threshold will also increase the chance of you shocking that enemy. Penetrating Lightning resistance will also increase your chance of shocking an enemy (if the enemy has resistance to Lightning) else its not effecting it ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last edited by Treboaten#3209 on Jan 8, 2025, 4:46:15 PM
