Blasphemy + Decaying Hex not working Poe2

i have despair in blasphemy and linked with decaying hex i get no decay damage from the support skill

This completely broke my build idea. It took me hours to get to this point and there's no indication on any gem text that this isn't supposed to work.

And found another thing that is not working







It should burn with chaos and then dark effigy shoot enemies that are ignited

How do you link it with the support gem? I understand that right now we are not even sure if this will work, but I just can't figure it out how to add a support gem to despair, which is already in a support slot...

In this case it shouldn't do that based on the text. Very specifically, enemies "you" ignite. The helmet reads "enemies ARE ignited as though dealt x" but if it was supposed to proc the ring it would say "as though dealt x by YOU" or "YOU ignite enemies in your presence". Tricky language stuff but I also saw that combo and got excited before trying it and realizing it wouldn't work.

Enemies are still ignited and does burning damage. Your burning damage gets resisted by chaos resistance is more of an exact wording meaning despair and wither increase damage taken. But increases to fire damage scale the damage dealt.
