Hell no if I need to run through this every Season

Poe2 is a fun Arpg for one time playthrough but I would be exhausted if I have to go through the campaign for each character in every season at this pace.

In agreement, but what is the resolution? How do you make it less tedious without gutting the combat and difficult boss fights which make up the core identity of POE2?

how do you provide a tight experience that isn't either tedious or trivial while still employing arpg design tropes?

the extreme variance and asymmetry that is at the core of the arpg sub-genre is antithetical to the challenging/engaging experience that's clearly intended here.

presumably the idea is to launch as stripped back as possible and go from there, rather than attempting to 'take away' that which was. something they've learnt from PoE1.

Easy fix is if you did the story once have another act where you get a base amount of levels to level and ascend , the story honestly isnt that great at least to me, also since there adding harder difficulty acts and other end game things, just make a act where you complete to get base amount to level and do what you want, i see no harm..... but they will lose people like they always do having to complete all 6 acts... with each class.... i make 1 class do part of the league and iam pretty spent after awhile doing maps for a bit and done for the season/league....

Make the maps smaller and increase the xp from kills. The core remains intact and you drastically improve the leveling process.

Honestly they need to just redo boss health the way it was in poe1 where it didn't respawn to full when you die. The players that want the soulslike start again from zero approach that it is now could just open the boss arena in a new instance, and those of us struggling could just brute force our way through death by death. It would be the best of both worlds and solve a lot of problems people are having
