Where is the currency?

I remember distinctly that we where promised alot of currency drops more even then in poe 1 so we could engage more with self crafting etc.

But the reality is that after close to 40 hours of gameplay ive had less currency drops (other then exalted orbs) then ive had from the first 2 acts in poe combined.
I understand that this is a beta and there is alot of work to be done but i sincerely hope currency and loot in general is going to be increased because as it is now crafting is very restricitve especially so when we dont have the crafting bench to plug any holes in our builds.
and the rune system dosent even come close to replace the crafting bench as you either have to craft items with sockets (which is really hard with very low currency drops) or save up and use artificer orbs which also arent exactly common and easy to get.

Im quite dissapointed in the current state of the game so i hope well see some loot drop improvements soon because i dont see alot of people being willing to explore the endgame when its this unrewarding
