Does Resolute Technique prevent situational crits like Sunder crit on armor broken enemies?

Subject, cuz if it prevents situational crits, then slow 2hander feels terrible against any enemy with the slightest bit of evasion. Even 90+% accuracy I am missing way too damn much in act 3 and am highly considering getting it but if RT blocks situational crits it's garbage for its clearly intended audience. I want to use the Sunder armor break crit yet I can't friggen hit anything.

+1 bump also wondering this.

When using Resolute Technique it looks like Sunder does indeed consume Fully Broken Armor, but I'm having trouble telling whether it's actually doing a critical hit or not. I'm worried that it's the worst of both worlds: it's consuming the broken armor but not critting.

Really wish GGG implemented a damage test dummy so I could check stuff like this.
They definitely need to make it either one or the other.

Either A: Resolute Technique prevents *all* crits, and therefore Sunder doesn't consume Fully Broken Armour like it usually would.

Or B: Resolute Technique allows crits in guaranteed circumstances, so Sunder crits like normal when consuming Fully Broken Armour.
Testing the damage on Beira (Witch unique in Clearfell) by fully breaking armor and then hitting her with and without Supercritical socketed showed basically no difference in damage, so it seems to me that Resolute Technique does indeed prevent the guaranteed crit from Sunder, despite the fact that sunder still removes the broken armor.

If anyone else wants to double check to ensure i'm not a dumb dumb and missed something, please do.
