Act 2 Valley of the Titans Medallion Placement Bug

Approached the altar in the Valley of Titans to place the Kabala Clan Relic and the Sun Clan Relic, but each time I grab them from my inventory, the icon to place them in disappears. I can hover over it when I'm not actively holding the relics. I have tried releasing the items in the approximate location of where the interface had been earlier. I've already tried moving my cursor and dropping it in just about every location in a reason proximity of the altar. Look into this for me GGG.

This one is a nasty bug. Here's the workaround that worked for me:

1) Press i to open the inventory
2) Hold alt button on the keyboard. Keep holding it!
3) Drag the relic to it's destination

Edit:
Or just press Z once to toggle Item Highlighting, also helps

hit Z on your keyboard to hide things then Z to bring it back up.

I am currently having an issue in 0.4 where I have placed both relics into the spot but there is no option to make any selection.I have reloaded, switched servers, tried just about ever work around that I could find on the Internet. I am on console, PS5, so I don't have the option to use other keyboard bindings. It would seem to me, even with some work around found by others, that this mechanic is still bugged and should be reworked before release.
