Monk dashes
I am currently enjoying the invoker monk A LOT, but one thing that keeps driving me crazy is the fact that i have 2 moves that allow me to "dash" to enemies (killing palm and staggering palm) yet these moves do not dash at all. If i have a target low and go to execute them with killing palm, the targeting will not allow me to select the proper target and i am instead stuck with punching in front of myself or dashing to a random target. The other issue I have with these abiilities is the lack of dashing. If im not able to dash through a stack of mobs to execute the low enemy in the back what is the point of the "dash" ability.

I have to say I am loving the monk. Act 1 and first half of act 2 were rough, but I am killing act three.
I am actively using 6 skills. 2 palm strikes (stun and culling strike), the lightning attack that consumes charges, the flying leap stun attack, the electric range sweep attack, ice lotus. plus I do use the doge roll, mainly against bosses, but sometimes against other mobs. As you can see, I have A LOT of mobility. Yes sometimes the palm strikes do not hit my target. I just make sure I have a clear line of site or use the flying leap attack to get one or back up and use a ranged attack. If any of the palm strikes could go through mobs, it would be way OP. Try to use other mobility skills to get into a better position. I'm not using WASD BTW because I need to use all 6 skills. I want to use a 7th when I unlock the next gem level, but managing 6 with doge roll and flasks has me fairly maxed out. I still think I am going to try 7 as long as I don't find myself using the 7th skill too often. |

The dashes feel realy weird. It looks like the pathing is just very much off. Some times you press the button and will dash through an entire group of mobs and land on your target, other times you end up faceplanting in the first mob in front of you.
Make it a blink towards said target. Not to a point you click, but to a target. That way you can freely move around and trigger the culls/stuns. |
