Is melee being crap one of the major reasons for many peoples rage?

Once again is melee trash? Atleast at the very start? And perhaps thats the reason for so much rage?
Atleast the first character I made was a Monk and he immediately had issues with the devouerer and even that frost Witch. Died multiple times overall. Meanwhile Mercenary felt way easier since I could run and gun. Zero death right then. And Witch was even better a character where I have overall been able to progress quite easiliy. I'm sure Melee is great further in, but maybe its just not fine tuned for the early game? Anyway to not jump on the PoE 2 hate bandwagon, I think it overall has many nice changes. i actually like melee, my biggest complain is the lack of options though. pretty much all but 2 melee weapons are not released, which is ok cause its Early access afterall, just sucks for melee characters.

Well you add the input lag for consoles in general, than it isnt that optimized yet at least for console no matter what the settings, than you add you only power walk and dodge, when the enemies and bosses can do just about any movement speed freely from teleport to run lol..... so yes alot of melee people are complaining so em i lol.... frustrating fighting screens of mobs especially mapping and you can only power walk and dodge lol..... i get theres a challenge but still..
