Need help changing password, Jake_GGG please help

So when I started playing poe 1 the original poe before I started playing poe 2 I was given the standard screen prompt requesting I create and account in order to play. Clearly I should have exited game at that moment and come to your website pathofexile.com and created an account here which would have a password. I was never given a screen prompt in game in poe 1 to create a password when I created my account in poe 1 and now even though I keep attempting to request a change of password for my account with the email address your website requests in order to complete that process there is no email sent to me to complete said process. My steam account is called Mulerborg_a1 that has both the poe 1 and poe 2 installed on it which keeps automatically keeps logging me into said account which has no password and I dont know how to stop that automatic loggin process you know. The thing is I am the type of player that greatly appreciates that you are currently doing twitch drops on twitch.tv and I would very much like to get those drops in my account but unfortunately I cannot link my twitch.tv account to my poe account until I have a password for said account so that I can then utilize your streamlined website process to link said accounts along with my steam account so as to be able to draw upon the fun times said twitch drops will provide. Please help me as I am now in my own personal hell in which I cannot stop the auto loggin process at the home screen in game for poe 2 which keeps me playing in an account I cant log into at path of exile.com and I really would like your help as soon as humanly possible bro. Also I have created an alternate account at path of exile.com and I am more than willing to simply start over with all new character class builds if that would further streamline this process and yes that alternate account Mulerborg_a1#0513 has an actual password which is good but doesnt help me yet. What do you mean you don't have password? every account got a password somehow. it's either you log using email/password or you log using other platform creds like Steam in this case it's Steam login..

I have no ability to correct the situation on my end of the problem as I do not have server access so I cannot tell you how I was never issued a password an I have no ability to change or create my password either. Perhaps you could simply disconnect or logout or delete the poe account that my steam account Mulerborg_a1 is automatically logging into when I load poe 2 and that way I can then log in with a new account which has a password. I have no way of answering your question as to how it is I did not create a password other than the forum post description to the problem I am experiencing which I already did elaborate upon in great in depth detail so please feel free to read my previous forum post so as to be able to know how I never did get a password. And I do understand other players have passwords and I respect that and am not questioning that, I am asking for your help. Please help.
I have now merged my accounts, the accounts Mulerborg#3553 and Mulerborg_a1#5013 in an attempt to solve the problem and I am at this time not requesting either account be deleted by Grinding Gear even though I know I did just make said request just a little over and hour or two ago. Thank you for your time in these matters. God bless you for all you do at Grinding Gear bros and thank you for the Path of Exile franchise, you have done well by the gaming community and the gaming community clearly has chosen to be big big fans of Grinding Gear for the foreseeable future timeline.
Hey there - if you created your account via Steam then you may need to link an email address to the account first. This way you will be able to receive automated password reset links via email.

We've already stated that we have been made aware of some issues regarding players having difficulty sending emails to our Support inbox. The team is looking into this, and hope to get this working again as soon as possible.
