Option to Hide HUD for OLED Users to Prevent Burn-In
Hi Grinding Gear Games team and fellow Exiles,
First off, I want to say how excited I am about Path of Exile 2. The game looks incredible, and I can't wait to dive in and explore everything Wraeclast has to offer! As someone who plays on an OLED display, I wanted to raise a concern that might be relevant to a growing portion of the community. OLED panels are fantastic for gaming, but they are susceptible to burn-in, especially from static elements like the HUD (health/mana globes, skill bar, etc.). Would it be possible to implement an option to hide or minimize the HUD elements during gameplay? Alternatively, a feature like dynamic HUD transparency, customizable fade-out timers, or the ability to toggle specific parts of the interface on and off could be a great help. This would not only cater to OLED users but also provide a cleaner and more immersive experience for players who prefer less on-screen clutter. Thank you for considering this suggestion, and I look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts. Keep up the amazing work! Last bumped on Dec 16, 2024, 11:23:52 PM

Very useful suggestion for the game, for example very bright white spots in 1000+ nit when enabling RTX HDR on round health and mana stats are very annoying and accelerate burnout of OLED monitors and TVs.
