Into the Breach Ascendancy skill

The Ascendancy skill Into the breach for Monk Acolyte of Chayula is either bugged or poorly designed, Its almost impossible to get/maintain max stacks of Purple flames even with the double duration as each stack seems to destack individually by the time you pick up your fifth to sixth flame depending on your luck of purple flame spawns (location and frequency of spawning), it will begin to destack making it way to hard to stack to max.

Got same issue, they kinda renew but not always. And it'salready a pretty hard t oexecute mechanic.

Yep, skill sucks. Mana and Life leech is kinda cool, if you forget that 90% of staff skills are elemental and leech works only on phys damage.

But buffs not refreshing itself is just bad design even on paper. Sad, concept sounded cool.

It just feels very poor to me - I know there are not many chaos skills to speak of at all at this point... But even trying to run around, anything with melee at all is straight out of luck for picking them up reliably.

I feel like the flames spawn way too far away from the character for a start... And a bit too infrequently for keeping the buff around.

I would like if they add a duration tag on Into the Breach so you can scale it with skill effect duration from support/ skill tree.

That would probably fix most of the problems with Into the Breach.

This is a change I can get behind. You get purple flames stacks from killing with mantra of destruction and the duration is amplified by skill effect duration.


That being said you can also maintain your stacks at 100% by investing in remnant distance. Desecrated suffix on amulet and ring with the notable is sufficient to have remnants just flying at you from across the world.
