I don't get why I got banned. I hit level 40 then I got disconnected then banned.

Same. Support really needs to address this. Act3, randomly banned out of no where. I've never used a third party anything (new to the game wouldn't even know how). Have even really interacted with anyone in game. Pretty frustrating.

Same, hit 40, insta "banned by an administrator". Many such cases reported on steam forums and poe discord, but no response to mails or any other info from GGG.

GG surrender

lvl 40 is a magic number in poe1 too. GGG always had fully automatic ban system (!) followed by literal weeks (!) of waiting for "account investigation team" sorting it out. This system produces a lot of false positives but guess GGG doesn't want to instaban all their new players so they postpone it until level 40.

Once I was banned for using dynamic IP address to play (from what I could tell at least). 4 weeks waiting for unban and not even a copypasted apology in the end, although this was ridiculous treatment:)

So all you can do now is wait.
