Poison Resistance

Hi,

I cannot find the resistance for poison? I can only see Fire, Cold, Lightning, and Chaos?

I'm assuming green was poison?

Poison is Chaos damage over time.

Poison and Bleeding are chaos damage over time, and ignore your energy shield. Get more Chaos res.

Bleeding is physical

Worth mentioning - while poison is resisted by chaos, it's not strictly speaking chaos damage. Chaos damage that is not poison does double damage to ES while poison damage bypasses ES.

Yeah because poison is DOT but it's still chaos damage. DOTs aren't hits

I'm curious, if I have 100% reduced poison duration, does this mean I'm effectively immune to poison or does it simply mean the poison expires twice as fast?

By default your ailment duration is 1 unit. If that is reduced 100%, that means it's reduced to 0. Keep in mind that, in poe1 at least, ailment duration can be increased, so it's not always immunity.

Poison is DOT and its damage is resisted by chaos res. But it's not chaos dot like ED.
