Ascendancy nodes on mercenary seem bugged

I originally wanted to go gemling legionnaire, but I saw people stating the +12 quality and +3 skills nodes weren’t working as intended. So I chose the other ascendancy, picked up cull, and it doesn’t seem to be procing from crossbow attacks, grenades, or DOT damage. Just want to see if other people noticed cull, or other nodes that aren’t working in mercenary ascendancy?
