Too Many Types of Orbs, Shards, Essences
Currently stashed at level 16:
10 stack Transmutation Shard 40 stack Orb of Transmutation (normal to magic with 1) 10 stack Essence of Torment (normal to magic with 1 physical mod) 20 Orb of Alchemy (normal to rare with 4 mods) 30 Orb of Augmentation (adds mod to magic item) 10 Regal Shard 20 Regal Orb (magic to rare with 1 additional mod) 20 Exalted Orb (rare new random mod)) 20 Chaos Orb (Removes a random and adds a random to a rare) 20 Blacksmith's Whetstone (improves martial weapon quality) 20 Armourer's Scrap (improves quality of armor) 20 Artificer's Orb (rune socket) 10 Greater Essence of Electricity (adds electricity damage) 10 shards stack to convert to orbs? right? Everything else is chaos with different stack sizes. Why don't all stack to 100 or 999? I want all of these to directly loot to the stash, especially the shards. Actually, I'd rather get no shards at all and just tweak the drop rate so I get full orbs or nothing. Looking at a wiki, there are 23 types of basic currencies/orbs. Why so many? Basic item to Orb of Transmutation, followed with an orb of Augmentation, Regal orb, Exalted orb, Orb of Alchemy. Scratch that, it's already rare. Why can't I just re-roll it anyway? Is there a specific orb for that? If I want to use an orb of Alchemy on a magic item, let me do it. And what about the Essences? 24 types? Why not three or four essence types and when I use one I get to pick which element or stat I want to boost? It's like a scheme to either sell stash tabs. Why not essence shards? Why not essence shard fragments? Why not essence specks to shards to fragments to essences to greater essences and they all have different stack sizes? There are roughly 70 of these types of item orbs/augments/currencies? Why not just let me use gold and I can just loot all of these orbs, sell them, and talk to the blacksmith to forge or the classic shady trader/thief to gamble items. If you want simple, go play something else. This is poe. It's a complex game and a systematic crafting system, although, compared to poe1, it's much more simplified. (for now) Take time to understand the items and truly how potent they can be before asking GGG to 'make it easier' LOL

This aint Diablo.... If you want that easy stuff go play that.

This game is intended to go further down the rabbit hole, Def not D4's pick 1 of 2 options for everything. the different items will be dominate in endgame. all your loot does go automatic to each stash they belong in, its called affinities. you have to purchase each of the major tabs. it takes less than 20 sec's to clear your inventory. You obviously have no idea how endgame works or the cost of completing everything from start.its only going to get harder from here, and much more interesting.......

Respectfully, this is far more streamlined that Path Of Exile 1. Wait till end game, you'll be using all of it. Or using as trade currency. |
