Elemental Expression

Is Elemental Expression supposed to be this weak without any spell damage nodes on the tree?

I'm unsure if it's actually doing this little damage as my buffed up gameplay dealt with packs pretty easily before getting my 2nd point. I haven't noticed any meaningful increase in damage when it does proc.



Confirmed it by seeing the icy wave hit an enemy I didn't with my attack and saw it did this little damage. Surely it should be doing more on an attack based build, right?

Hey, I had the same issue but after some research, it seems the node has a spell tag so as melee attacker we are not scaling it

This ascend feels completely unplayable. High mana cost for very low damage and most support gems do not seem functional on it even though you can socket them. Feels very under baked.

This ascendancy needs a rework or huge buff. Waste of ascendancy points.

How to ruin Wild Strike with a spell tag...

its their attempt to do a battlemage kind of class even after inquisitor version of that never took off....


its hard as balls to scale both attacks and spells even in poe1, and only way was battlemages cry/Crown of eyes....let alone in poe2.

this means to scale EE in poe2 you need all generic damage or elemental nodes, which is just not viable.


Given how much pen there is on the tree and on jewels, I would say 90%+ of invokers probably go avatar and that eva->pdr convert
