Hard BSOD crashes code 239 & 340

I have gotten bluscreens, maybe 40 total. Can't really try to play anymore might be damaging my PC at this point by trying to.


Tried to play on dx11 some ppl suggested that, and updating windows. Tried upgrading firmware on ssds and running memtest on boot all went fine but still the issue remains. Tried moving the game to other drive.

The BSOD bugcheck codes are 239 & 340. I don't get these bluescreens on other games that I know of, nor dont get them on regular pc use it's just PoE 2.

The BSODs tend to happen during loadings of assets, like when you open the map screen or hit K for the MTX screen and its trying to load the character model on the right of the screen. It feels related to when it needs to load things in and out. The issue can happen 10 seconds into booting up the game and i've tried throttling my gpu (Undervolting, 80% power consumption limits etc) but no difference.

nvidia drivers are updated.


Intel 9700k, RTX 3080 FE. Win 11. 16 gb memory.

I get a blue screen every time though, and I don't have an x3d chip. Might still be caused by the same issue with the game though.

I am experiencing BSOD's as well. I am running Windows 10 22H2. My CPU is 5800X. Though one thing I have noticed, all instances of my BSOD's have occurred when I was running POE2 and then I start or manipulate the passive tree in the Maxroll website. All 3 times.
