PC crashes on loading screens

I've been playing PoE 1 for a while now and got this beta key for $480, assuming I will be able to play the game, but sadly the game crashes almost every time I enter a loading screen.
This is what I've tried doing: - Verify the integrity of game files. - Moving game to other SSD. - Instead of fullscreen, playing in windowed mode. (it reduced the amount of crashes) PC specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D GPU: RTX 4080 SUPER MB: ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 48GB DDR5 6400mHz CL40 SSD: Western Digital Black SN850X NVMe M.2 SSD, PCIe 4.0 M.2 Type 2280 - 4 TB Fresh install of Windows; all benchmarks and stability tests are flawless. Latest GPU drivers. Latest BIOS drivers. Latest CPU drivers. It does not bluescreen, only freezes with sound distortion. It's like there is a sudden extreme hit on CPU once entering loading screen that causes PC to crash. I was wondering if maybe someone knows how to fix this because I am very sad. Exactly the same issue here, and a band-aid fix seems to be to disable engine multithreading in the in-game options. This unfortunately will gut performance severely but it does completely prevent the issue from happening.

I had to lower the max core usage to get it to work. The initial loading screen spikes CPU usage hard.

same issue... 4080, i5 12400 32 ram. suddenly resets my pc:(

It’s a windows update. Ran into the same problem. PoE Uncrasher works, otherwise you’ll have to disable 1 or 2 cores during loading screens.
