POE2 - 2H damage increase, crossbow

Crossbows seem to count as 2H weapons, and on Mercenary, the Armour Piercing rounds show damage increase when taking the two-handed weapon damage node. It does not show any increase in damage for Incendiary Rounds, though.

I have been looking at the skill gem details on both of these skills, and can't figure out why one is affected and the other is not. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Bump.
Crossbows count as 2h weapons, i have Overwhelm point in the skilltree, it works, damage is bigger, but i play grenades only.

I wonder if it is a bug with tooltips or the fact that crossbow skills are mostly ammo, and deal a percentage of that damage. It is strange that it shows supported skills for only two of the ammo skills rather than all.

I also noticed that holding shift in the passive skills menu on Projectile Damage nodes as well as Two Handed damage, only show normal Crossbow Shot and Armour Piercing Rounds as affected skills. Those skills, however, all seem to have projectile in their tags.

Either way, incendiary rounds DPS did not increase with taking of that node. I know that in POE1 the DPS tooltip was unreliable, which could be happening here.

Thanks for the input, GimmeZeLoot.

Does the bonus not apply to grenades?
I wanna know that too since I got the 40% damage with two handed big node and it didn't seem to change the tooltip for explosive grenades at all.
now i am wondering do passive nodes , that give damage to crossbows ,
work for grenades ?
can anyone test this?
Hello have checked this today and it definitely does work.

If you go to your skills page and note your damage OR DPS next to your skill (nades display total dam and bolts/ammo display DPS), then notice how they go up when you select one of the skills in this tree.
I also just tested and found that "Full Salvo" does not gives the 25% damage increase when using grenades (as in they don't count as ammunition) Personally im running a grenade build so this was unfortunate
Interesting , thanks i'll put some point intro 2H :)
