Gemling Legionnaire - integrated efficiency not working as intended

I ascended to the gemling legionnaire, used it to unlock the 3 extra skills, it showed when i clicked G, i teleported to a diff map/died once, thats the only real changes since i got it, and now they disappeared.... I am back as if i was a normal mercenary without the 3 extra slots and its now wasted, I assume this is a bug, if so, hope theres something that can be done, otherwise i feel my character got bricked in a sense.

I am seeing the same bug on my end, though the additional slots didn't appear at all in my case. I wouldn't say it's bricked since you can still earn more points, but yeah respeccing back out is a costly affair.

Sharing this report, if you unspec and respec it stays for a bit, but if you ever take off the gem you have to do it again, it also is very buggy with buffs and turns them off.

Same issue here. I was able to replicate the way my extra skills disappeared. When I first ascended, I had 2 ascendency points. I immediately pathed towards the +3 skills node and took it. I checked my skills and voila--3 extra skills were there. Empty sockets. I put in a few skills (war banner, gas grenade, and fragmentation rounds).

I took a portal back to town and started un-socketing the skills (at first 1 or 2) I had just placed in the extra 3 skill slots. I wanted to try out some skills I had in my stash--but when I opened the skill page back up, the extra skills were gone. I tried taking out other skills gems to see if I could see an empty skill socket again--and I was able to once I had removed more than the default maximum limit in the game (I'm new to PoE so I don't really know the default number).

I came across this post and decided to refund the ascendency point that gave +3 skills and try again--to see if the extra slots were permanently gone or not. This was after I restarted the game (the missing skills were still missing upon restart).

I found that if you refund the ascendency node and take that node again shortly after, the extra 3 skills show up again. I had already unsocketed the original 3 skills I got the first time (as far as I know, removing the skills from the skill socket is what causes them to disappear). So when I got the node again after refunding, I had 3 empty skill slots like the first time. I put skill gems in there and was able to use the skills. As long as I didn't remove any skill gems, I kept the three skills (although War Banner was acting weird -- I don't think I fully understand that passive skill though). If I took out one skill gem, that skill slot would permanently disappear, and the skill couldn't be used. Same thing happened with the other skills.

In my experience, you could (maybe) play indefinitely with the extra skills as long as you didn't remove the gems after taking the ascendency node. The only way (afaik) to get the extra skills back is to refund and purchase the node again.

Yup, same for me as well, I ascended to gemling and took integrated efficiency, but I don't see 3 additional skill slots. Man, what a bummer, right after dying so many times in trials too.

Same thing here. Don't waste your gold re-specing unless you want the skill gems back.

Integrated Efficiency is bugged and all the skills in the tree. Please fix this to next patch. Cant get the 3 extra slots.

This is a POE 1 section, you need to post this in POE 2 either bugs or feedback etc. People post in the wrong places constantly and wonder why feedback isn't addressed. Please take the time to check where you are posting.
