Ascent to power quest

I've completed the quest but the second i go and click on the altar to select my Ascendancy i got kicked out and now i need to redo the trial even tho i already completed it...

The same thing happened to me, I killed the boss and the game crashed and reset the event and I had no way to access the altar room and key rewards.
