Silverfist Area Boss Checkpoint
Unsure if this is explicitly a bug but it does seem counter to all other bosses/GGG's stated intent. When you die in the Silverfist gorilla fight in Jungle Ruins, you are basically locked into the fight. Any attempt to move or even TP without moving will automatically re-initiate the boss fight. One can run away and eventually disengage the area boss but this seems like an additional hurdle relative to all other boss encounters.

His aggro range is so large that even if he's up in his little ruin area, you pull him as soon as you respawn. |

This has to be a bug.
The aggro range is too big. Respawning = Fight again! The movement speed is also something to look at. Can't even run from this. What a lovely boss... |

Bump.
Checkpoints overall are terribly executed. This one in particular is extremely egregious, and most notably on Cruel. If you brush against it, you're locked into aggro, and your attempts to deaggro will most often lead to you running into dense packs of mobs until you get warped back to that checkpoint. Feel bad for anyone playing this game on hardcore, but most of them are already cheesing pausing and logging out. |
