PoE 2 Static noise issue of all audio sources outside the game

It seems there is something that makes it solely when playing PoE2, the audio of discord calls, youtube videos and more become terrible static and noisy, when the games audio is clear and fine. Not sure how or why this is the case.

Yes I fully agree! I noticed the issue is worse when I'm on the caravan (figured it maybe had to do with the connection quality when there's a ton of people on the server?).

But I do notice the audio quality is substantially better when I'm alone in a dungeon or not in town. Super strange and needs to be looked into in opinion.

Please find a fix I have been enduring this crackling sound for a month.
