10hr couch coop feedback
Overall: loving it!
Bullet list of improvement ideas: - Both people can sell at the same time - waypoint indicates more clearly that the other person needs to be nearby - it’s quite difficult to see in all the madness where you are, especially when including teleport abilities (since in coop you’re mostly not in the middle of the screen) - dragging the other player forward when you move “too far” is great, but the pathing of the person “behind” is not very intelligent. Could be smoothened out - both people need to get/return each quest, which doubles up a lot of clicks and dialogue - “trade” where you just move something to the other person is FANTASTIC, but please also make it work when the other person is not in the inventory screen. It’s cumbersome, just let me send stuff when they’re adjusting skills etc. - Mercenary: please change “ammunition skills” into attack skills instead of reload skills. Initially they are confusing, once you understand them they are annoying/infuriating to play with. It just made us want to play with either only 1 ammo, or simply not use crossbows at all… The way bows (not crossbows) work feels 100x better to me. Some generic non-coop feedback: - I have no idea what the story is. It just feels like “the next person has an exclamation mark, they have an issue with another randomly named entity that we now kill with no understanding of how it fits within a wider story” - please add fixed slots to the inventory screen for the most used crafting items (turning things from white to blue to yellow, add a single modifier to blue/yellow items). It’s really cumbersome to constantly search for those items, especially because they all look alike for the first 500 hours - controller: the “smart movement in inventory” is alright when it works, but super jank half of the time (sometimes not even moving while you’re clearly pressing to a side) - game balance seems really good. Bosses felt very tough, but then we did 2 side quests and they were very reasonable. That’s a nice tight rope to balance! - gameplay wise this game feels, to me, like the true sequel to D2 ❤️ Last edited by TheBalrogslayer#7574 on Dec 22, 2024, 10:07:32 PM Last bumped on Dec 22, 2024, 9:36:40 PM
