32:9 ultra wide support: Will it come back? Before 2022 POE1 supported it, but not even in POE2?

Just wanted to check in and see if there were any plans to support actual UHD monitors all the way to 32:9 instead of the halfway there 21:9. ASUS ROG Strix XG49VQ is a 49-inch super ultrawide monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio and it kind of sucks playing with 1/3 of the screen black bars. It used to work in POE1 until 2022 when they removed it from the game, so I'm hyper confused that it's not an option in 2, at least when the OG worked just fine until it was removed.

Not casting shade, just checking in to see if there was any hope!

Yeah - me too. I'm using a Samsung Odyssey G9 49" Super Wide with 5120x1440 (32:9) resolution and it really s***s having these broad black bars on both sides ...

So - please, implementing 21:9 and 32:9 support would really be highly appreciated.

I can see we're not a majority of players, but you think there's any hope for it? I'm about to just move the game to a side monitor at 1440x1080p, which is a damned shame for such a high end setup. /sigh

fwiw, same. I tend to use 2/3 of the screen for the game and 1/3 for a browser window to look stuff up etc. Would be really nice to have the game cover the entire screen.

I am in the same boat with the same monitor. I saw someone had created a mod but people are saying you'll get banned if you use mods to make it ultra wide resolution.
